Four Ten is a new hard rock band from the East Bay, California. It’s a number and a designation of four dudes who turn it all the way up. It could also mean speaker cabinets with 4X10”s or an anagram of 10-4. Or maybe it’s ten minutes to 420. Or it could be a play on the word ‘fortune’. In any case, It now represents something else entirely.
Four Ten is made up of veterans of the San Francisco Bay Area rock scene. Members of Ruffians, Dirt Brothers, Walk The Sky & Blue Hail have formed a kick-ass new rock band and are breaking new ground in old-school heavy rock n roll. When Rob Bonstin (Vocals; Ruffians, Walk The Sky) told Steve Patterson (Drums; Ruffians, Dirt Brothers) he was returning from a year working in Malaysia, Steve asked him to come jam with his new band. Of course Rob said “Hell yes!” and on a plane he got. Rounded out by bassist Frank Fabsits (Dirt Brothers) and John Goodwin (Blue Hail; John also endorses Dean Gatewood Guitars), they have a chemistry and vibe that is missing from today’s rock scene.
The band has been hard at work writing material for their forthcoming debut album and preparing for live performances. Taking bits from various eras and styles of hard rock, they’re weaving a tapestry of killer new songs with a brand new, modern feel. This collaboration is molding creative musical and lyrical concepts into something new and fresh. Using tried and true styles in new and exciting ways and turning familiar tricks on their ear. The songs have a comfortable vibe yet have twists and turns that will keep you hooked.
Be brave, take risks because Four Ten favors the bold...
